In FPS, we focus on films which have not been subject to preservation for a long time, like personal collections, home movies, or small gauge films. FPS Small Gauge Dept. works to further the long history and technology of small gauge film through the activities below. It also helps us to pass on the memories of the people who love them to the next generation.
1. Film inspection and telecine
Do you have films that have been asleep in closets or drawers for a long time? We inspect these films and then transfer them to DVD.
2. Equipment rental (8mm projector, editor, camera, splicer...)
We rent 8mm equipment to the people whose projector is broken or who want to hold a screening for children...
3. 16mm film projection
We undertake projection of 16mm film in local events.
